To repair a tear etc with Filmoplast-P, take a strip from the roll that is a little longer than tear,release from backing paper then, position the strip over the tear and rub in firmly with a bone folder. If the item is fragile then put a clean slip of paper over the strip and rub in firmly over the paper strip. The rubbing process presses the adhesive into the paper, while removing air from between the fibres giving the highest possible transparency. finally cut off any unwanted or overlapping tape with scissors.
